Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Spokesperson and Assistant Secretary Celine Pialago recently submitted a complaint letter against ABS-CBN reporter Doris Bigornia after supposedly being mistreated by the latter.
Addressing it to ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs Division Head Ging Reyes, Celine narrated in the letter that she accidentally bumped into the senior reporter during a fire drill in Makati City hall. She then apologized but Doris was not appeased by it.
“I accidentally bumped into Ms. Bigornia. I apologized to her but instead she struck me and kept shouting at me as if I deliberately did it,” she wrote in the letter.
She also revealed that the reporter spread rumors about her having plastic surgeries which she said was unjust.
“She was backstabbing me, saying my nose is fake, my body is fake, and everything about me is fake and that is totally below the belt,” she added.
She recounted another instance wherein Doris told her cameraman to cut her out of the frame of video footage being shot.
“During a press conference, she shouted to her camera operator, ‘Si GM lang kukunan mo sa frame wag mo isama yang katabi niya,'” Celine said.
According to the MMDA Spokesperson, this was not the first time that she was bullied by the reporter. But her recent experience prompted her to finally speak out about the rude behavior of Doris.

She added to her statements: “I do not want my superiors and colleagues in the agency to be involved in my issue with Ms. Bigornia.
“They are already busy with so many things. I believe that her behavior is already intolerable even by her employer’s rules, I’ll just wait on the result of the investigation.”
Celine does not have any idea about the cause of the senior reporter’s hostility towards her. As reported in an article by PEP, Celine called Doris “salbahe” for her rude behavior.
Meanwhile, the ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs Division Head promised that she would make an investigation into the senior reporter’s recent actions.
Doris had been known to be involved in several altercations in the past.
In 2016, Doris faced a complaint from a reporter from GMA in Davao City during the campaign period for the presidential elections. According to the reporter, Doris scolded a DMNG engineer after he politely told her to excuse herself from a camera taking a live report.
In 2015, she was also called out for her misbehavior during a concert of The Script at the Mall of Asia Arena. She was with her daughter Nikki Bigornia that time. According to a Richard Lim, the two initiated chaos during the concert when they ran over in front of the seated viewers covering their view. Some of the seated viewers began running in front assuming that it was okay. Lim asked her to move when his son started to hyperventilate but she allegedly said: “Wala akong paki kahit mamatay siya diyan.”
