- Kris Aquino and Gabby Concepcion MMFF 2019 horror film entry started shooting
- Kris visited Gabby on the set on their first day of shooting
- Gabby and Sharon Cuneta (Sha-Gab) comeback movie soon?
Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2019 entry K(ampon) is already in production.
Kris Aquino visited Gabby Concepcion on the first day of shooting right after she arrived from Japan. The Queen of All Media was pleased that Gabby accepted the project which was first offered to Derek Ramsay who had to back out due to schedule conflicts.
“I have just to say Thank you! The movie would not be happening had he not said ‘Yes,'” Kris said.
During her visit, Kris had a chance to ask Gabby if he was willing to do a movie with ex-wife Sharon Cuneta and his answer, “Gawin na natin! Let’s shoot, when? First day?”
Gabby was very positive about the possibility of working again with his ex-wife. He added, “Game! Matagal na akong go!”
The Gabby-Sharon love team started in the 1980s. From the time they portrayed reckless young lovers April and Jimmy in Danny Dear Heart, there was no stopping the tandem from becoming one of the most popular pairs at the time.
In no time at all, the on-screen attraction spilled over into real life. In 1984, a fairy tale wedding sealed the love story of the popular young stars. The couple was blessed with a daughter named Kristina Cassandra Cuneta Concepcion, now known simply as actress-endorser KC Concepcion.
Three years later the fairy tale started to show cracks and the two later separated.

On February 9, 2018, a few days before Valentines Day, the online version of a Sharon-Gabby commercial for fast-food chain McDonald’s burned up the Internet. Within a day after it was uploaded, the video—set to the classic song “Kumusta Ka”—garnered over three million views.
A big screen reunion has been in the works for some time with Star Cinema before it was eventually shelved.
