- Derek has a tight schedule taping his primetime series The Better Woman
- Kris aired a request on Instagram for Andrea Torres
Kris Aquino and Derek Ramsay are set to make their Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry this 2019 with the horror movie K(Ampon) under Quantum films to be directed by King Palisoc.
K(ampon) is one of the first four official entries for MMFF 2019. However, Derek and Kris seem to have some trouble working on the film.
Derek is currently busy with his primetime series The Better Woman which premiered on July 1. This might lead to him backing out from the film.
Meanwhile, Kris is hesitant about the film because of her belief that she should not work during Chinese ghost month which began on August 1 and will last until August 29.
With the deadline of submission for the official entries of Metro Manila Film Festival 2019 getting nearer, Kris and Derek had a long talk and ironed out schedule conflicts as mentioned by the actress in her instagram comment on August 8.
In her comment, she also aired her request for Andrea Torres not to text “po” in her message for she will not be her mother-in-law.
This request earned various comments from netizens.
In another Instagram comment on the same day, Kris commented to Gabby Concepcion stating that she is looking forward to work with him for K(ampon), and hopes to produce the Sharon Cuneta-Gabby Concepcion reunion movie.
