- Rumors about KC Concepcion’s breakup with French filmmaker Pierre Emmanuel Plassart surfaced earlier this year
On her Instagram, she posted photos from her recent photoshoot that was made possible through the help of trusted and supportive friends and family.
In the caption, KC wrote a message tackling what she went through for the past years, but with the help and support of the people she loves, she was able to overcome them.
She said, “I missed the studio soooo much!!! Our shoot meant soooo much to me- I got so nervous and emotional shooting the first layout of the day… What you don’t see are the insecurities and anxiety that came with me to work… More than 3 years ago before my hiatus, I was just recovering from Dengue when my grandma who was like a mom to me, passed away. Weight gain, depression, questioning the world… All these debilitated me and really changed me from the inside out.
“I’ve fought for my peace, my heart, and my happiness. I’ve always been the daring, spontaneous kind, yet for so long I’ve stayed in a zone that made me feel safe. And I gave myself permission to do that, and that’s okay!” she continued.
As she continued her message, the actress didn’t forget to thank the people who stuck with her especially her mom, Sharon Cuneta for the opportunity.
“There is a time for everything, and there is a time to step out- for me, that feels like now [love emoji] And I’m more than thankful to have the support, love and talent from the fantastic team I chose for my first shoot coming out of my woman cave haha. [black heart emoji]
“Thank you to my forever forever love @markednicdao, with whom I’ve grown so much through the years, to my darling @mickeysee who understands me and the words I never say, our siren @adrianneconcept who pushed me to get out of my comfort zone, @styledbysuyen for the laughter, moral support and teaching me how to wear my new hair with confidence, @jurosalonexclusif for taking care of my locks and being the best gurus for any makeover and @piacampos + @wtalentmanagement fam for getting it – and especially to my mama @reallysharoncuneta for giving me the only big push I will ever need.
“Thankful for the awesome shoot and for just everything!!! [fire emoji] Gaahh NOBELA! Hahahah sorry naman [laughing emoji] I love you all that’s all k thanks bye,” she ended.
