The afternoon series Kadenang Ginto remained in the no. 1 spot despite being pitted against new rival series Hanggang Sa Dulo ng Buhay ko and Bihag.
For Kadenang Ginto‘s recap last July 22 to July 26, Daniela’s troubles slowly start to pile up while Cassie decided to finally investigate who has been stealing from her. Meanwhile, Romina remained determined to save SikaTuna. Kulas continued to cause problems for Hector and Daniela. Romina and Daniela then engaged in a fiery cook-off on “Usapang Puhunan.”
In GMA Network’s Hanggang Sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko pilot episode highlights, Naomi tried to save her relationship with Matteo and followed him everywhere until she found out that he had already moved on and is now seeing Yvie. Naomi became desperate to win Matteo back, even if it means taking Yvie’s life. She was then motivated by an eerie voice at night.
In Bihag‘s episodes highlights, while Ethan was with Reign, Brylle confronted her when he found Ethan’s belongings at her house. Brylle went to meet Ethan’s kidnappers alone to get him back despite lack of money. Reign came to rescue him and Ethan but he remained doubtful of her and later learned that it was just a set-up.

On Monday, July 22, Kadenang Ginto registered a rating of 7%, dominating over Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko’s pilot episode with 5% while Bihag only had 5.9%.
On Tuesday, July 23, Kadenang Ginto climbed up to a high score of 9.4% leaving behind Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay ko which was slightly changed to 5.4% while Bihag got 6.0%.
On Wednesday, July 24, Kadenang Ginto rose up even higher with 10.1% maintaining wide gaps with Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko having 5.7% and Bihag with 6.2%.
On Thursday, July 25, Kadenang Ginto continued to gain an increase with 10.2% while Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko got 6.0% and Bihag, 7.1%.
On Friday, July 26, Kadenang Ginto decreased to 9.7% but remained unbeaten by Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay ko which subsided to 5.4% and Bihag scoring 6.8%.
