Jessy Mendiola who recently slammed a netizen linking her to Bea Alonzo-Gerald Anderson-Julia Barretto controversy and calling her a boyfriend-stealer.
Last August 3, Alex Gonzaga’s posted on her Instagram account about being single and ‘third-wheel’ for a long time until she finally found her now-boyfriend, Mikee Morada. Jessy Mendiola reacted to her post with three heart emojis.

But, it seems like a netizen who was still not over Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano’s breakup decided to attack her.
The netizen wrote, “ikaw landi kaylan kasal mu hahahaha the most hated celebrity in the Philippines.”
Tagged as ‘cheater,’ the 26-year-old Kapamilya star was even compared to Julia Barretto who is allegedly the reason behind the breakup of ex-couple Anderson and Alonzo.
The netizen, under the account name ‘sarahm503’ continued, “no worry may kasama ka na si JuliaB naparehong jomowa ng may jowa kahit hindi pa break mga cheater mag audition na kayu ng valentina role sure makukuha kayu hahahaha.”
Mendiola, being one of the few celebrities who doesn’t tolerate bashers, replied to the rant with “move on!”
Gonzaga also butted in and replied with, “wag ka mag-nega dito pls [kissing emoticon]”
Fans of Mendiola came to her defense and called out the basher who didn’t reply anymore.
But the issue didn’t stop on Instagram. Even on Twitter, the beautiful actress was being criticized. Despite not being involved in the controversy regarding the break-up of Alonzo and Anderson, she was being likened to Julia for being a ‘boyfriend-snatcher’. The two actresses’ exchange of pleasantries on Instagram worsened the situation with some netizens concluded that Barretto was indeed a ‘cheater’ since they believe in the adage “birds of the same feather, flock together.”

Netizens believe that Barretto will end up just like Mendiola, a “flop queen.”
Nonetheless, Mendiola and Manzano are both happy in their relationship and their undeniable love for each other is evident in every photo that the couple posts on Instagram.

It was in 2016 when Mendiola was accused of stealing Luis Manzano away from Angel Locsin.
Manzano and Locsin were in an on-and-off relationship until 2016. Many netizens couldn’t take their separation and blamed Mendiola for the split of the former celebrity couple. However, Manzano clarified that no stealing had happened since he and Locsin had already broken up when Mendiola appeared in the picture.
