Joshua Garcia and Janella Salvador have been finally paired up after three failed tries.
The newest Kapamilya gothic-themed primetime series, The Killer Bride has been trending online. People are also gushing about the undeniable chemistry of JoshNella.
In an interview, the two trending stars agreed that The Killer Bride marks the formation of a new love team, following their individual onscreen tandems.
Joshua had worked on four big-screen projects and a teleserye with ex-girlfriend, Julia Barretto for three years. Janella was with former partner Elmo Magalona in a TV series and two movies.
“This is the right time for us, and I’m happy,” Joshua previously said.

Janella admitted that she has a good working relationship with Joshua.
“We’re just really happy na binigyan kamo ng project to work each other na kakaiba,” Janella said.
Since it is their first time working together, how are they supporting each other?
“Masaya ako dahil dedicated kami pareho sa ginagawa namin, focused kami sa character namin.. Yung preparation namin, hinahawakan ko sya, yung tulungan na na-amaze ako,” Joshua shared.
“Sa totoo lang mas madaling gumawa ng eksena kung magaling yung kaeksena mo. Kay Josh, hindi ako nahihirapan kasi kapag ng connect, yung mata nya..pag tumitingin ako sa mata nya, sobrang powerful,” Janella said.
Since they both came from reel-to-real relationships with their previous love team partners, are there any hesitations?
“Important sa akin na kahit nasa love team ka, you can stand on your own. So parang ang natutunan ko from my last is hindi kayo masyadong nagrerely sa isa’t isa lang. Yes, you’re a love team pero kailangan mag-grow din kayo individually,” Janella said.

She added, “I’m against the stigma na pag may ka-love team ka hindi ka na pwede mag-work with other people. Kasi kaya kami nasa industry na ‘to kasi we want to be able to express, play different characters, work with different people. That’s how you grow.”
For Joshua, “Maganda sa amin na nakakapagwork kami with different actors kasi nago-grow kami at may natututunan kami doon sa kapwa actor namin, kung sino man yung makakapareha.”
Joshua’s breakup with Julia who is a close friend of Janella’s has been the subject of controversy in the last two months, while Janella and Elmo have been separated for a year.
