GMA Network is preparing more new dramas to offer to its viewers for the second half of 2019.
Here are the 10 new dramas audiences can expect from GMA Network this 2019:
Wagas (August 12, 2019 replacing Kapuso Movie Festival): Sunshine Dizon, Mike Tan, Regine Angeles
After six years of airing on GMA News TV and winning several awards like the Gold Camera for Docudrama in 2014 at the US International Film and Video Festival, Wagas will be back this time on GMA Network with a monthly story beginning August.
Prima Donnas (August 19, 2019 replacing Bihag): Jillian Ward, Sofia Pablo, Althea Ablan, Katrina Halili, Wendell Ramos, Aiko Melendez, Chanda Romero
The latest teaser established that the story revolves around the lives of triplets: the responsible and hard-working Donna Marie, the ambitious Donna Belle, and the awkward and sickly Donna Lyn. Katrina portrays Lilian Dalisay, the trio’s surrogate mother, while Wendell, the father of the Donnas, is Jaime Claveria, overseer of the family business.
Madrasta (September 2019 replacing Dahil Sa Pag-Ibig): Arra San Agustin, Juancho Trivino, Thea Tolentino, Manilyn Reynes, Gladys Reyes, Kelvin Miranda, Anjo Damiles
One Of The Baes (September 2019 replacing Love You Two/The Better Woman): Rita Daniela, Ken Chan, Pauline Mendoza, EA Guzman, Roderick Paulate, Amy Austria, Jestoni Alarcon, James Teng
Descendants Of The Sun: Dingdong Dantes, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Rocco Nacino, Lucho Ayala, Paul Salas, Prince Clemente, Jon Lucas, Hailey Mendes
After airing a Filipino-dubbed version of the show in 2016, GMA Network announced plans for a Pinoy remake of the hit show back in 2017. It looks like we’re finally going to see it come to life because they’ve finally included the show in their lineup for 2019.
