Many netizens were shocked when Alonzo posted a cryptic post on Instagram hinting that her relationship with Anderson was on the rocks. The issue became worse when Barretto was tagged as the alleged cause of the couple’s breakup.
Anderson and Barretto co-starred in the film Between Maybes during which the affair supposedly began.
Julia’s mom Marjorie Barretto and sister Dani Barretto clarified that the rumors were not true and that they were just friends. The former also revealed that she will seek legal action against the uploader of her daughter’s photo with the actor taken at Rayver Cruz’s birthday party.
Meanwhile, as the controversy remains unresolved, the Kapamilya actor is now being linked to another woman almost twice his age. Anderson was once linked to veteran actress Janice De Belen and now the rumors have resurfaced
On Facebook, a page titled Paminta Superstar Queen posted a picture of Anderson and Belen. The caption was about an actor having an affair with an actress old enough to be his mother.

Anderson and de Belen were formerly rumored of having a romantic relationship when they worked together in the 2011 primetime series Budoy. The actress portrayed the mother of Budoy, Anderson’s titular character in the series.
Allegedly, de Belen was accused of being the reason why the actor and his former flame Maja Salvador broke up. But this issue had been clarified with both parties clearing De Belen’s name.
Nonetheless, the netizens poked fun of the issue between the 30-year old actor and the 50-year old actress.
