Two weeks after Bea Alonzo posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account and started liking posts of a netizen claiming that her boyfriend Gerald Anderson and actress Julia Barretto were seen being sweet to each other at the birthday party of actor Rayver Cruz, Gerald finally has aired his story in an exclusive interview by ABS-CBN Entertainment reporter Ganiel Krishnan.
On Twitter, the TV Patrol reporter shared snippets of her interview with the controversial Kapamilya star.
After explaining what happened to his relationship with Bea, Gerald quashed third-party rumors involving Julia Barretto.
“Walang ibang taong naging dahilan ng break up. Para sa akin, its always been our personal issues.”
He added, “No one else was the reason.”

This is not the first time he was accused of being unfaithful. Last July 22 during a launch of a footwear brand, he was asked about being the alleged “third party” which caused the split between Julia and her ex-boyfriend Joshua Garcia, Gerald said with a laugh: “Ganon talaga, ganon talaga eh, parang ‘di kayo sanay dyan eh.”
“Sanay na ‘ko, sanay na ‘ko, sanay kami sa showbiz, ganun talaga,” stressed Gerald.
The actor also stated that he does not have time to deal with rumors like that anymore. “Sa dami ng ginagawa ko sa buhay, may oras pa ba ako sa mga issue? Just stay positive, keep moving forward. Go lang ng go.”
Meanwhile, Julia’s mother Marjorie has commented on social media, saying that Julia and Gerald are just friends and that they are planning to take legal action against the Internet user who posted Julia and Gerald’s photos from Rayver’s birthday bash.
