- Geoff Eigenman will team up with Maja Salvador in the upcoming The Killer Bride series

Geoff Eigenmann is thankful and excited about his new show on ABS-CBN, The Killer Bride.
The upcoming romance thriller gothic-themed series will serve as his second project as a returning Kapamilya after his network transfer.
He was grateful that he was given the opportunity to portray the role of Vito Dela Cuesta, the love interest of Maja Salvador’s character, Camila.
“Sabi nila I deserved the role. Just knowing that is pressure on my part already, but I couldn’t be anything but grateful for the opportunity,” the actor said to the entertainment press last August 1, Thursday.
As a returning Kapamilya, he was then asked if he has any regrets after he left the network in 2009.
“Not naman necessarily leaving ABS-CBN. Now that I’m older kasi, looking back at how my career went, maraming regrets for sure.
“There are definitely things that I could have done differently, I could have done better, but kasi that’s the course that I took in life. So sa akin lang kasi, no regrets whatever path you choose. You deal with it kung ano man ang maibigay sa ‘yo,” he explained.
“If I could do all over again, I would definitely do things differently,” he added.
For now, Geoff is just overwhelmed to be part of the new primetime series with Wildflower star, Maja.
“Sobrang nakakataba ng puso kasi I’ve been away for a while and this is my first show now that I’m back. Tapos napakalaking show pa. Kasama ko pa ‘yung mga napakalaking artista, ang laki ng cast namin. And to be paired with Maja,” Geoff said during his guesting at Magandang Buhay last August 2, Friday.
He said that it was a “perfect timing” working with Maja again.
“Mas mature na kami, mas marami na kaming maibibigay. At kahit hindi kami in real life, matatanggal namin ‘yung cliche na dapat kayo talaga to make the love team work.
“We are very comfortable with each other, ‘yung mga eksena na ginagawa namin get us to be really close but comfortable kami. At maganda ang reaction ng tao, may chemistry din naman. So I’m very happy about that,” Geoff said.
Geoff and Maja last worked with each other in the 2009 horror movie Villa Estrella. They were also part of the main cast in the 2006 comedy film First Day High.
The Killer Bride will premiere on August 12, 2019. It will replace Sino ang Maysala?: Mea Culpa in ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida line up.
The story revolves around Camila who seeks revenge on the people who wronged her by possessing a woman named Emma. She was supposed to marry her lover Vito, but was wrongly accused of a crime. She died in a fire while being held in detention.

The cast will include the fresh team-up of Joshua Garcia and Janella Salvador who will play Elias and Emma respectively.
Geoff is a member of the Eigenmann family of actors. He first started his career in acting at GMA Network as part of a joint drama series with TAPE Productions and later became part of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic and starred in their shows.
He moved back to GMA Network in 2009 after his contract expired and he starred in an SRO Cinemaserye with Carla Abellana.
In 2016, he returned to ABS-CBN and he became a part of the daytime series Be My Lady.
He opted to return again to GMA Network in 2017 and was cast in the drama series titled Contessa, with Glaiza de Castro in the titular role.
In 2018, he became a Kapamilya again by starring in the afternoon series Los Bastardos.
