Dave Lamar supposedly fired back at Amay Amon, Morissette Amon’s father, after the latter ranted about his daughter on Twitter beginning February of this year.
In elder Amon’s rant, he claimed that Morissette is allegedly living together with her boyfriend, Dave.
“Google translated as lumayo. What if hindi lumayo? Live-in ba tawag dun? Or what if like 2 nights lang? Sleepover?Vacation?”Amay said on Twitter.

In another post, he said that Morissette’s Twitter account was deactivated and that she no longer communicates with them. Her family and some of her fans were disappointed in her behavior.
He also expressed his dismay in Dave by saying: “The kind of guy that’s like, pinag-aaway ang family, makuha lang gusto nya.”

Last Friday, August 16, Dave posted cryptics words on Twitter and netizens speculated that this was his response to the rants of Morisette’s dad.
He first posted: “Yah happy???”

And after a while, Dave shared a photo with the quote: “Jumping To Conclusions Is Not Actually Exercise.”

Morissette has not yet made any statements about the issue.
Meanwhile, netizens have also aired their thoughts on the matter. There have been mixed reactions while others have said that Amay’s rants were “disappointing” as he was not supposed to discuss the private issues online.

Morissette and Dave first met as contestants in 2013 on the ABS-CBN talent search The Voice Philippines where Mitoy Yonting emerged as the winner. Morissette and Dave supposedly became an item though the two did not disclose anything about their relationship.
