Daniel Padilla expressed his happiness for his long-time girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo who is now reaping success after starring in the blockbuster movie Hello, Love, Goodbye with Alden Richards.
The Star Cinema film directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina is now regarded as one of the highest-grossing Filipino films of all time. It crossed the PHP 800 million mark at the box-office in just three weeks.
In an interview at the Star Magic All-Star Games 2019, Daniel remarked that he is proud of Kathryn for attaining another milestone in her life.
“Siyempre very proud. Kanina nga nagsimba kami para lang magpasalamat sa lahat ng mga blessings na natatamo niya at natatamo ko rin and ayun masaya siyempre kasi ang tagumpay niya ay tagumpay ko rin,” Daniel shared.
He added that Kathryn was also supportive of his collaboration with other actresses as she herself was paired with Kapuso actor Alden.
“Supportive din ‘yun, excited nga ‘yun e,” he said. “Sabi nga ni Kathryn, hindi naman natin sinasara ang mga pinto natin sa mga ganun na oportunidad.”
Daniel and Kathryn have been a real-life couple for seven years now. They starred in several TV series and films including 2018’s The Hows of Us, which holds the record for the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time.
It was early this year when their popular love team known as KathNiel decided to explore separate paths as artists. Kathryn’s tandem with Alden known as KathDen was warmly received by fans and was even described as a “perfect match” by some.

Meanwhile, Daniel’s new love team partner has not yet been announced though his fans are now excited for his new future team up.
Daniel is currently doing shoots for his music video for the song “Mabagal” which will be included in the Himig Handog 2019.
