Dani Barretto came to the defense of her sister Julia Barretto when a Twitter user spoke about the cheating allegations of Julia.
The netizen reacted to a viral photo of Joshua Garcia eating alone at an after-party of the ASAP tour in the US which Julia and other Kapamilya stars were also a part of.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla were the ones who joined him at the table after noticing that he was eating alone.
The photo caught the attention of netizens as they assumed that Julia had left Joshua alone during that time.
A netizen commented:”Sino ba naman kasing tao ang gusto pang makasama yung taong nanakit sa kanya? Kahit ako eh mas gusto ko na mag-isa kesa makasama yung taong nanakit sakin at magpanggap na okay.”
Dani did not let this comment slide and replied that Joshua was the one who cheated first on Julia.
“Oh let me correct myself. Nakarinig ba kayo ng paninira galing sa kapatid ko the the first time he cheated on her too? Oh hindi mo alam yun noh? Marami kasi kayong hindi alam. Kaya manahimik na lang kayo. :)”Dani replied.

Rumors of Joshua cheating came up in 2018 when Joshua reportedly got involved with a mystery girl named Dane, causing trouble for the JoshLia tandem.
A screenshot of his private exchange with the mystery girl on social media went viral. It showed that he remarked “Art shot” in reference to a swimsuit photo posted by Dane on Instagram.
JoshLia later reconciled when Joshua tearfully apologized to Julia and promised to “become a better man” for her.
The viral photo of a “lonely” Joshua prompted the netizens to threw criticisms against Julia who allegedly abandoned her love team partner.
Addressing the issue, Julia replied to a Twitter user named The CelebriTEA saying that Joshua was the one who decided to be left alone and questioned why she was being blamed for it.
She posted on Twitter: “I did not leave Joshua alone. He opted and requested to be left alone. He asked to eat and mingle alone. Why are all these fingers being pointed at me yet again? Bakit nanaman siya kawawa sa naging choice and decision niya, and bakit kasalanan ko pa to? Wala kumakawawa sa kanya.
“Masyado nageenjoy tao gawin kawawa si Joshua sa lahat ng bagay, kahit wala na connection sa kahit na ano. May magawa lang na story. Trust me, the guy is ok. He enjoyed himself last night. Wala sila lahat alam. Wait lang kayo,” Julia added.
