Kapuso afternoon show Bihag still can’t get past Kadenang Ginto which remains undefeated in the battle of ratings.
Last week’s Bihag episodes highlighted the emotional reunion of Jessie and her son Ethan. When Reign found out about this, she asked her men to abduct Ethan and bring him back to her house. Reign, again, tried to manipulate Brylle and brainwash Ethan by telling him of how irresponsible and bad his mother was. When he finally got alone time with his son, Brylle revealed to Ethan his plan and promised the young boy to be reunited again with his mother. When they got the chance, Brylle and Ethan let the house leaving Reign furious.
Kadenang Ginto has again, captured the interests of many viewers with the intense and action-packed face-off of Daniela and Romina who never get tired of fighting and threatening each other. In the recap of last week’s episodes, Daniela’s employees rallied for their rights which eventually led to a commotion that left her injured. Meanwhile, Cassie and Marga’s war worsened especially when the former was accused of conspiring with Nadya to sabotage the latter’s campaign for the election.
Kadenang Ginto remains the most-watched afternoon program in its timeslot for the week of July 29 to August 2, 2019. Based on the data collected by National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM):
On Monday, July 29, Bihag collected 6.7% rating, while Kadenang Ginto hit 10.4%.
On Tuesday, July 30, the Kapuso show lowered its score to 6.4% while its rival program maintained its lead with 10.7%.
By Wednesday, July 31, Bihag maintained its viewership rating while Kadenang Ginto rose even higher with a rating of 11.2%. Additionally, it was the highest rating that the Kapamilya program recorded for the week.
On Thursday, August 1, Bihag recorded its highest score for the week hitting 7.2%, which is still low compared to the lowered rating of Kadenang Ginto that settled to 10.7%.
