ABS-CBN Books joins this year’s Philippine Readers and Writers Festival (PRWF) spearheaded by National Book Store, with insightful talks on leadership, entrepreneurship, writing, and inspiration led by Kapamilya authors Ardy Roberto, Edric and Joy Mendoza, Francis Kong, and many more, happening this Friday to Sunday (August 2 to 4) at Raffles Makati.

Learn more about the perks of homeschooling with couple and parents of six, Edric and Joy, authors of the book “Why You Should Homeschool,” on Friday (August 2) at 10:30 am.

At 1 pm, embark on a transformative financial journey with Ardy, bestselling author and entrepreneur, as he talks about his first ever work of fiction “The Happy Entrepreneur.”

Meanwhile, inspirational speaker Francis Kong will put into spotlight the small details that often go unnoticed in life by discussing his book “All That Matters: Live. Love. Learn. Laugh” still on Friday at 3 pm.

To cap off the day, join leadership and career-life coach Terry Samala de Guzman, founder of TSDCoach, as she bares her life stories with her book “Here I Am: Learning Along the Way” at 5 pm.

On Sunday (August 4), explore the process of writing and creating content for millennials with Angela Soyen Enconado, Neil Jed Castro, and Joena San Diego in “Once More with Feeling: How to Write On-Trend and Relevant Content for the Millennial” at 10 am.

These Kapamilya writers are part of the extensive roster of ABS-CBN Books’ authors, with exciting self-help, fiction, and nonfiction reads. To date, the ABS-CBN publishing arm has sold more than two million books since it started in 2012. ABS-CBN Books has also experienced significant success in the digital space, with books being sold on Lazada, Shopee, and Facebook, and just recently on Amazon Kindle.
Apart from talks from ABS-CBN authors, PWRF 2019 also includes an inspiring array of creative minds—top-billed by 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction winner Viet Thanh Nguyen and award-winning Filipina novelist Gina Apostol.

Admission to the three-day annual fest is free with registration starting at 9 am every day. Book signing events only covers books purchased from NBS, NBS Express, and Powerbooks branches or online from www.nationalbookstore.com. The authors’ books can also be availed at the venue.

Engage with the reading and writing community in the highly-anticipated #PRWF2019. For updates, follow @abscbnpr on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram or visit www.abs-cbn.com/newsroom.
