GMA Network’s Afternoon Prime and Sabado Star Power series Dragon Lady featuring Janine Gutierrez and Tom Rodriquez will soon end on Friday, July 20, with a total of 117 episodes.
Tom shared that, “It’s an ensemble, it’s a group effort,” that makes the GMA Network’s Dragon Lady successful.
Talking to PEP.ph, he said, “Iba rin yung mga bonding-bonding pag nasa set, pag nasa standby area…
The series has been extended several times, what is Tom’s take on this?
Parang hindi ko nararamdaman yung passage of time.”
Tom is happy to be part of this successful afternoon prime series which paired him up for the first time with Janine.

“It’s an ensemble, it’s a group effort. Hindi naman ano, e… It’ll be big-headed naman of me to claim na I’m the only part of that. It’s everyone. Of course, Janine has been doing an amazing job as Yna and Scarlet, grabe yung fierceness niya.”
For Tom, his most memorable scene is from the beginning of the show, where he is rowing and doing Mixed Martial Arts.
Dragon Lady will soon be replaced by Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko, a drama horror series which will star Megan Young, Kris Bernal, Rayver Cruz, and Kim Domingo. It will premiere on July 22, Monday.
Originally titled as The Haunted Wife, the series will bring chills and suspense for viewers in the afternoon. The production team reportedly consulted a paranormal expert during their preparation for the show.
