Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana are one of the admired celebrity couples nowadays. They have been together now for almost five years and fans are speculating that the two will tie the knot soon.
Their on-screen pairing was popularized in the series My Husband’s Lover (2013), So It’s You (2014), My Destiny (2014), No Boyfriend Since Birth (2015), and Mulawin vs Ravena (2017).
Wedding rumors have started since last year but the two did not disclose any crucial details about it until now.
They have already bought a plot of land where they plan to build their future house together. However, Tom has yet to propose to Carla.
“It’s part of the near future.”
This was Carla’s answer when she addressed the speculations about their marriage. The two revealed that they are still waiting for the right time before getting married.
Tom, 31, and Carla, 33, also admitted they are feeling the pressure now as their peers in showbiz are already settling down.
“Malapit na po ‘yan, depende kay Tom at only God knows”
“Siyempre alam ni Tom kasi siya magpo-propose e. Pero napag-uusapan naman na po namin ‘yan at sobrang nakaplano na lang po siya.
“Only Tom knows,” Carla said.
Carla was recently introduced as the newest brand ambassador of Ligo Sardines with her partner Tom at the brand’s 65th Anniversary celebration held last week.
The couple was featured in the “Lami Ligo” Campaign and a popular local dish, Odong noodles (or misua) with Ligo sardines.
The special event, titled as Ligo Klasik at 65, unveiled the Ligo’s new and exciting product variants: Calamansi, Fried Sardines in Oyster Sauce, and in Portuguese Style. All the variants will be available in September.
