The movie’s lead actress Sarah shared something interesting about the movie in an interview with Ricky Lo.
She said, “Di po ako makakapagbigay ng details pero pambuong pamilya po talaga ito. It’s a heartwarming story na pampamilya. Parang dedicated po ito sa mga dog lovers like me.”
Sarah has been in the showbiz industry for 16 years already and proven herself as a box-office star. She was last seen on the big screen in the hit movie Miss Granny with James Reid and Xian Lim.
Among her memorable films include A Very Special Love (2008), You Changed My Life (2009), It Takes a Man and a Woman (2013), Catch Me… I’m in Love (2011), Won’t Last a Day Without You (2011), and Filipinas (2003).
She rose to fame after she emerged as champion in the TV singing competition, Star for a Night in 2003. Since then, she has been loved by a legion of fans and has remained humble throughout her successful career.
In the same interview with Ricky Lo, Sarah shared how lucky she is to have her unwavering supporters called the ‘Popsters’.
“Sobra po akong swerte to have my supporters, ‘yung Popsters. And also ‘yung hindi naman bahagi ng Popsters, ‘yung nakaka-appreciate lang po talaga sa akin as a person, ‘yun lang masayang-masaya na po ako,” Sarah said.
“Bonus na ‘yung mga taong naniniwala sa’kin as an artist, so maraming salamat po,” she added.
Recently, Gardenia Bakeries Philippines, Inc. announced that Sarah was selected as their first endorser after their 21 years as breadmakers.
She also celebrated her birthday at the press launch of Gardenia’s first celebrity endorser held at Marriot Hotel Clark.
According to Gardenia President Simplicio P. Umali Jr., Sarah started as their official endorser in February 2019.
Mr. Umali is just proud of Sarah for helping a lot in increasing the sales of Gardenia products.
Last Tuesday, with the theme “Bake to the Future 2.0,” Gardenia opened its fourth fully-automated bread manufacturing facility, following those in Laguna, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro. Located in the TECO industrial estate in Mabalacat, Pampanga, the P2-billion plant will be able to produce nearly 400,000 loaves and buns every day, ready for delivery to supermarkets, groceries and convenience stores in Luzon. All in all, the daily produce of the four plants amounts to more than 1.8 million loaves nationwide.
The overall production capacity of all four Gardenia factories is now at 1.8 million loaves.
