The BoBrey (Rita Daniela and Ken Chan) tandem will soon be back on TV.
Following the success of the top-rating series My Special Tatay, Ken and Rita are back on the small screen in a leveled up evening prime slot.
Rita started at the young age of 10 when she became the grand winner of QTV’s Pop Star Kids in 2005. She was relegated to playing villain and supporting roles on TV soaps like Impostora and Villa Quintana while she continued singing the theme songs of some GMA soap operas and also recorded her own compositions, like “Di Lang Ikaw”. She also did theatre and shone as the leading lady in the hit musical based on the songs of the Apo Hiking Society, Eto Na! Musikal nAPO!
Ken was a host of the late-night show, Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman. He also appeared in several shows of GMA Network in a span of one year. Ken was part of the love triangle between Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio’s tandem in Tween Hearts, portrayed a villain in Time Of My Life. A breakthrough in his career happened when he played as Yuan Lee in Meant To Be and Joshua Lazaro, a doctor in The Cure.
Third quarter this year, a ‘millennial fairytale’ will be produced by GMA Public Affairs.

The new show starring Rita and Ken is still untitled as of the moment. Rita will be playing the role of Jowa and Ken as Grant. It will ask the very valid question as to which is more important for you: love or your dreams? Pag-ibig o ang iyong mga pangarap sa buhay?
For Grant, his answer is: “Siyempre, pag-ibig. I’m a hopeless romantic in the story and I believe that everyone in life has his own Princess or her own Prince Charming waiting for him or her.”
As for Jowa: “Pangarap. Mas importante para sa’kin to achieve my dreams. Mas mahalaga sa akin ang dream ko na maging captain of a big ship someday.”
These two people with different views in life would then meet each other and face the ultimate test for them. Which one would they choose in the end: their love or their dreams? Don’t miss this very first primetime teleserye of the BoBrey love team, soon on GMA-7.
