- Pinoy Big Brother Otso gained more viewers than its rival Ruler of the Mask

ABS-CBN’s reality show Pinoy Big Brother Otso gained more viewers than its counterpart shows Ruler of the Mask and Bubble Gang from its episodes on July 15 to July 19.
In the reality show’s highlights for its episodes from July 15 to July 19, Housemates Lie Reposposa, Yamyam Gucong, Ashley Del Mundo, and Kiara Takahashi were now a step ahead of the competition as they were declared the “batch winners” of their respective batches in PBB Otso. Following them is the Japanese vlogger Fumiya Sankai who occupied the fifth seat in the Big Night.
GMA Network’s newest Koreanovela Ruler of the Mask scored low ratings on its pilot week. Set in the 18th-century Joseon, the drama tells the story of Crown Prince Lee Sun and his fight against a powerful and wealthy organization Pyunsoo-hwe that controls the country behind the scenes due to its monopoly of the nation’s water supply. With the help of the woman he loves named Ga-eun, Lee overcomes adversity and grow as a just ruler.
The comedy gag show Bubble Gang had low percentage of viewership on its episode last July 19 ,Friday.
According to NUTAM People’s Ratings last July 15 to 19:
On Monday, July 15, PBB Otso garnered a score of 4.2% and had a close fight with the Ruler of the Mask pilot episode which only got 4.0%.
On Tuesday, July 16, PBB Otso climbed up with a score of 6.4% while Ruler of the Mask remained at a low of 4.0%.
On Wednesday, July 17, PBB Otso ruled again with the high score of 7.5% against Ruler of the Mask which with a decreased rating of 3.7%.
On Thursday, July 18, PBB Otso went down to a rating of 6.4% but was not defeated by the low rating of Ruler of the Mask which was 4.0%.
On Friday, July 19, PBB Otso recorded a slight decrease with a rating of 6.2% still higher against its rival Bubble Gang which only had 4.1%.
