ABS-CBN’s noontime show Nang Ngumiti ang Langit kept more viewers enthralled with its heartwarming tale than its rival show Kapuso Movie Festival which had a low percentage of viewership in NUTAM TV Ratings last week.
In its story highlights last week, Katrina (Cristine Reyes) arrived at a decision after her altercation with Divina (Pilar Pilapil). She decided to take her beloved granddaughters away which made tore at Divina’s heart.
Meanwhile, Mikmik (Sophia Reola) wanted to endear herself to her sister Amber (Krystal Mejes) by giving her a present. Michael (RK Bagatsing) makes an effort to get close to Amber. He takes Katrina, Amber, and Britney (Heart Ramos) to his home after finding them in danger.

According to NUTAM TV Ratings last week:
On Monday, July 15, Nang Ngumiti ang Langit hit a record of 7.7% leaving behind Kapuso Movie Festival with only 4.4%.
On Tuesday, July 16, Nang Ngumiti ang Langit got a slight increase in ratings with 7.9% while Kapuso Movie Festival remained stuck with a low score of 4.4%.
On Wednesday, July 17, Nang Ngumiti ang Langit’s ratings climbed up again reaching 8.4% while Kapuso Movie Festival did not record any change with a 4.4% rating.
On Thursday, July 18, Nang Ngumiti ang Langit went down to 7.8% but still triumphant against Kapuso Movie Festival which subsided to 4.0%
On Friday, July 19, Nang Ngumiti ang Langit registered again a high score of 8.2% defeating Kapuso Movie Festival which lagged to 4.4%.
