Despite having a new timeslot rival, ABS-CBN’s Magandang Buhay remains undefeated.
Mars Pa More, GMA Network’s new talk show premiered last July 8, 2019.
The former GMA News TV program was pitted against Magandang Buhay that has similar format.
On its first day, ‘Mars Pa More’ was not able to win against the Kapamilya show.
In a Twitter post of Magandang Buhay, the show claimed a win against its timeslot rivals which include: Pokemon The Series XYZ, Jackie Chan Adventures, Aladdin You would’ve Heard the Name, and Mars Pa More.
Based on the data recorded by Kantar Media on July 8, 2019, the Kapamilya show won in the battle of ratings.
In the National ratings, Magandang Buhay got an audience share of 7.3%, while Pokemon The Series XYZ, Jackie Chan Adventures, Mars Pa More, and Aladdin You would’ve Heard the Name garnered 5%, 4.9%, 5.2%, and 5.6% respectively.
In the Urban ratings, Magandang Buhay earned a higher rating of 8.3% compared to the 5.4%, 5.5%, 6%, and 5.3% ratings gathered by Pokemon The Series XYZ, Jackie Chan Adventures, Mars Pa More, and Aladdin You would’ve Heard the Name.
In Rural, Mega Manila, and Metro Manila ratings, Magandang Buhay kept a wide lead against its rivals.

Magandang Buhay was launched on April 18, 2016. For more than three years, the program showcased different inspiring stories, beautiful attractions, health awareness, and cooking tips.
The Momshie trio—Karla Estrada, Jolina Magdangal, and Melai Cantiveros—never fail to impart life lessons that they learn from every story that they air every day.
Mars Pa More, on the other hand, a former GMA News TV program, is a family-oriented lifestyle magazine show. It showcases segments that focus on creating special bonds between moms and their kids.
In its new format, viewers can expect non-stop talk and fun activities that will surely get moms and kids engaged.
