They were asked about the reason for their misunderstanding but the two chose to keep it to themselves. But both of them assured fans that they are fine and had patched up everything in their relationship.
It was during the promotion of Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson’s film titled Between Maybes when rumors about a JoshLia breakup spread like wildfire.
This became a hot topic on social media earning different reactions and speculations from the netizens. The reason was not clear but some named Gerald Anderson as the culprit behind Joshua and Julia’s split.
Some believed that Julia’s kissing scene with Gerald was the reason why the couple got into a misunderstanding.
“Oo naman. Meron naman. Work lang yun eh. Supportive naman ako sa kanya,” Joshua explained.
Gerald, on the other hand, is currently in a happy relationship with the actress Bea Alonzo.
Meanwhile, JoshLia will be part of an upcoming zombie movie titled Block Z along with Ian Veneracion, Ina Raymundo, Maris Racal, Yves Flores, Dimples Romana, and McCoy de Leon.
Joshua and Julia first worked together in the movie Vince and Kath and James alongside Ronnie Alonte. They later became on-screen and later on off-screen partners. Their last project together was the television series Ngayon at Kailanman before they decided to work on separate projects.
