The Kapuso comedian and his wife Carol Bunagan expressed their thanks to the actor and exchanged greetings.
Family History is the first-ever directorial project of Michael V. The film is about a family whose strength and relationships will be tested because of a disease that will change their lives.
Joross, on the other hand, is part of the upcoming Star Cinema film, Hello, Love, Goodbye starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards under the direction of Cathy Garcia-Molina that will be shown in cinemas nationwide on July 31.
Since both films are set for release in July, Michael V’s Family History will be competing against Joross’s Hello, Love, Goodbye. But, that didn’t stop them to show support with for each other.
Aside from Joross, other Kapamilya stars including Rufa Mae Quinto and Ogie Alcasid also showed their support for the upcoming film of Michael V.
This is a good sign that celebrities can be good friends and supportive of one another despite coming from rival networks.
