Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and Box Office Queen Kathryn Bernardo emerged as the Best Actor and Best Actress respectively at the EDDYs last July 14 at New Frontier Theater. Meanwhile, Arjo Atayde and Max Collins won the Best Supporting Actor/Actress while Joel Lamangan was hailed as Best Director and Liway as Best Picture.
At the start of the ceremony, a small video tribute was given to the late actor Eddie Garcia who passed away last June.

Organized by the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEED), the Eddys aims to encourage local filmmakers, producers, writers, and actors to continue pursuing their passion of creating films that mirror the realities of our society.
The star-studded 3rd EDDYs Awards was hosted by Korina Sanchez-Roxas, produced by Echo Jham Entertainment, led by director Calvin Neria, and presented by Cignal Entertainment.
