Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador chose to exclude herself from the controversy that her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo are facing.
For a week, the online world has been abuzz with rumors of an alleged love triangle between Gerald, Bea, and Julia Barretto. Netizens are speculating that Julia is the reason behind the alleged breakup of the two lovebirds.
After the press conference of her upcoming ABS-CBN television series The Killer Bride, Salvador was asked for a reaction about the issue, but the actress preferred to keep herself out of it.
“Ayoko nang sumali. Masaya ako. Ayoko sumali, ayokong sumagot. Sa akin, kung puwede lang, wala na ako diyan,” Salvador said.
She also said that people should let the ones involved heal on their own.
“Hayaan natin silang lahat mag-heal, dahil hindi madali ang may mga pinagdadaanan,” Salvador said. “So huwag na tayong sumabay, huwag na nating gatungan, kasi at the end of the day, lahat tayo tao, nasasaktan, at marami tayong mga bagay na mas kailangan pang asikasuhin na mas importante,” the Kapamilya actress stated.

Anderson and Salvador had been in a romantic relationship that lasted for two years. They broke up in 2015, but despite her heartbreaking experience, Salvador does not regret any of her past relationships.
In the meantime, the actress is enjoying her love life with businessman Rambo Nuñez and admits that she is at her “happiest disposition.”
Prior to Salvador, Anderson was romantically linked to Kim Chiu, Sarah Geronimo, Pia Wurtzbach, and Julia Barretto. However, the actor denied that there was something building up between him and Wurtzbach and Barretto.
The aforementioned female celebrities are all endorsers of shampoo products. Because of this, they became the subject of the viral meme “shampoo beauties” where each of them are labeled with the shampoo brand they endorse while Anderson was considered as the “dandruff.”
The current controversy began after Alonzo made cryptic posts on her Instagram account and liked pictures of her boyfriend and Barretto together. Family, friends, and even fans of Barretto and Alonzo came to their defense. However, Barretto and Anderson themselves remained silent about the issue.
Alonzo also revealed that there was no formal breakup that happened between her and Anderson. The actor simply started not talking to her.
