GMA Network’s The Clash Champion Golden Cañedo feels so honored and privileged to be mentored by ace composer Vehnee Saturno.
In an exclusive report by GMAnetwork.com, Cañedo said she’s working really hard on her singing and performances because of Vehnee.
“Si Sir Vehnee ang isa sa pinakasikat na composer po rito sa Philippines so sobrang saya ko po talaga kasi bihira lang ‘yung [pagkakataon na] makakanta ng mga ginagawa niya na kanta,” she said.
“Pinaghuhusayan ko talaga sa ibinigay na kanta niya. Para sa akin kasi sobrang ganda and gusto ko pa po siyang ibahagi sa lahat,” Cañedo added.
Vehnee Saturno composed her latest song “More Than Before.”
Coincidentally, Saturno also wrote the songs that launched Sarah Geronimo to stardom.
Sarah’s hits like “Forever’s Not Enough,” “How Could You Say You Love Me,” and “Sino Nga Ba Siya” were all written by Vehnee.
Meanwhile, during Cañedo’s stint in The Clash, she was being compared to the Pop Star Princess because of their facial resemblance.
She was dubbed as the Sarah G lookalike which made her proud and flattered but also pressured at the same time.
