ABS-CBN’s longest-running kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit is set to bid goodbye after 14 years on air.
In a teaser aired on ABS-CBN, Wednesday (July 24) night, Goin’ Bulilit will have its last two episodes.
The news was also confirmed by the show’s head writer Josel Garlitos via an Instagram post.

In his post, Garlitos asked netizens and followers of the 14-year old show to share their #KwentongBulilit.
“Mga graduates, cast, staff, crew, mga manonood at sa mga lahat ng sumubaybay sa 14 na taon ng paborito niyong award-winning comedy gag show tuwing Linggo, ano ang #KwentongBulilit mo?” he wrote.
Goin’ Bulilit started airing on February 6, 2005.
Spearheaded by veteran actor-director Bobot Mortiz, the kiddie gag show has been a great staging ground of some of the best young stars.

Kathryn Bernardo
Kathryn was part of the 1st batch of Goin’ Bulilit cast. After her graduation in 2008, Kathryn has become one of the most important young actresses of today. Aside from being popular as one half of the KathNiel love team, Kathryn has made a mark in the industry for various important roles that she portrayed in teleseryes and movies. Some of her most notable teleserye projects are Mara Clara, Princess and I, Got to Believe, Pangako Sa’yo, and La Luna Sangre.
In movies, she was remarkable in Must Be… Love, She’s Dating The Gangster, Crazy Beautiful You, Barcelona: A Love Untold, and The Hows of Us where she won for herself two Best Actress Awards from PMPC Star Awards for Movies and The Eddys Awards.
Julia Montes
Another one of the original cast, Julia has also grown into one of the best actresses of her generation.
Julia starred in some of the most watch Kapamilya teleseryes like Mara Clara, Walang Hanggan, Muling Buksan Ang Puso, Ikaw Lamang, Doble Kara, and Asintado.
Her most notable films are Way Back Home, The Strangers, A Moment in Time, and Halik Sa Hangin.
Nash Aguas
A product of Star Circle Kid’s Quest, Nash joined Goin’ Bulilit‘s pioneer cast.
He was cast in different Kapamilya shows like Maria Flordeluna, May Bukas Pa, and his starring role Bagito. But it was his role in The Good Son as Calvin that drew praise, tagging him as one of the best actors of his generation.
Nash made his directorial debut via Coffee Break, a digital series on ABS-CBNmobile.
Kiray Celis
Also one of the pioneer members of Goin’ Bulilit cast, Kiray has grown to become one of the funniest young comediennes in the country. From usually being cast in a supporting role, Kiray rose to become the lead in the 2016 movie Love Is Blind with Derek Ramsay and I Love You To Death opposite Enchong Dee.
Sharlene San Pedro
Also part of the pioneering cast, Sharlene San Pedro was notable for her Ratek KKK segment in Goin’ Bulilit. After her “graduation,” she was cast in Luv U, Nathaniel, and several episodes of MMK and Wansapanataym.
In 2016, she was chosen as one of the new MYX VJs.
Triumph over competitors
With more than 14 years of running on air, Goin’ Bulilit has been victorious over every single show pitted against it. Some of those rivals included Bubble Gang Jr., Mahiwagang Baul, and Mga Kwento ni Lola Basyang.
Goin’ Bulilit has also reaped major awards from different award-giving bodies. It was named Best Gag Show by PMPC Star Awards for TV 6 times, three times as Best Comedy TV Program from KBP Golden Dove Awards and Gawad Tanglaw, and one from Catholic Mass Media Awards.
