Did Studio 7 ratings fare better with their new timeslot?
In an article by Gorgy Rula for Philstar.com, host Mark Bautista was asked about speculations that the Kapuso musical show was about to end.
According to Rula, Mark was unaware of it, saying the show has fared better when it transferred to their new timeslot.
Based on the available data from AGB NUTAM People’s ratings, Studio 7 won with its first episode in their new timeslot.
Studio 7 scored 5.3% last June 15, beating Pinoy Big Brother Otso by 0.9% at 4.4%. But after June 15, no available data was released with regards to the ratings of Studio 7.
Meanwhile, Kantar Media results didn’t favor Studio 7 as it continued to lag behind PBB.
On June 15, Studio 7 only received 7.5% ratings, 4.1% behind PBB’s 11.6%.
And for all Saturdays of July, Studio 7 remained trailing PBB.
On July 6, Studio 7 scored 8.1%, 3.7% below PBB’s 11.8%. July 13 is no different as PBB continued to outscore Studio 7, 12.7% vs 7.4%. And for July 20, Studio 7 continue losing against PBB 7.1% vs 12.3%.
Netizens react
While solid Kapuso fans appreciated the change of schedule, other netizens felt sad with the much later timeslot.
Here are some of their reactions.
I think Studio 7 is better in their new timeslot. They can even have a 2-hour show on a Saturday night. I can’t wait to catch it next week. #Studio7

Kaloka naman yung new timeslot ng STUDIO 7. 10pm to 11:15pm, Saturdays. Parang sobrang late na.
