Lead stars Shaira Diaz and Nar Cabico were very happy with the high ratings that the show has earned.
The July 14 episode garnered 10.7 % against against ABS-CBN’s Hiwaga ng Kambat which garnered just 9.0% in rating provided by the NUTAM People’s Ratings.

Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko’s rival show, ABS-CBN’s Wansapanataym Hiwaga ng Kambat stars Edward Barber and Grae Fernandez and features the story of two enemies who are actually twin brothers who were separated. One twin is a normal human being while the other, is blind and turns into a human bat in the evening.
