- Charo Santos-Concio wants to guest on FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano

In a recent interview with the media on the sidelines of a Sun Life event, veteran actress Charo Santos expressed her interest in joining the cast of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
ABS-CBN’s former President and Chief Executive Officer said that she is still waiting for Coco Martin to ask her to be a guest on the network’s longest-running teleserye.
“Cardo, naghihintay pa rin ako!” Charo jokingly said.
She also added that she is willing to be a part of the show, but on one condition.
“Oo basta ang cutoff ay hindi two in the morning. Alam niyo na, senior citizen na. Mag-aaksyon? Aba eh kung kaya ba e. Why not? Sa palagay niyo bibigyan ako ng action scenes ni Coco?” Charo kidded.
She also mentioned that the on-leave Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz is always welcome to come back to the network anytime he wants.
“Ay siyempre Kapamilya ‘yan! Kapamilya si John Lloyd,” Charo said.
Most celebrities want to be part of the country’s current number one series. In fact, the show recently added several new faces to its roster.
Arron Villaflor, Kaiser Boado, Josef Elizalde and Martin Escudero are the newest cast members of the series. Recently, Judy Ann Santos also teased netizens about her comeback on TV through FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
Viewers are hooked on the thrilling episodes of the series and don’t want miss out its developing story. In the recent episodes of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Task Force Agila become extremely worried for the safety of their missing female colleagues. Meanwhile, Domeng’s life is put on the line while gathering information on Bungo’s new hideout. The CIDG and the Task Force Agila was able to raid Bungo’s new hideout, while Renato and Jacob joined forces to defeat their enemies.
Apart from a stint on Coco’s series, the Maalaala Mo Kaya host also wants to work with Daniel Padilla on her next movie.
“It’s my dream to be able to work with Daniel. Hindi ko lang alam kung anak o apo ko siya pero gustong gusto ko siyang makatrabaho,” she laughingly said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
She also addressed the current trend of teaming up different artists to star on a big screen, like the pairing of Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards in Hello, Love, Goodbye.
“I think the creators are becoming more experimental and I’m happy that the networks are not fighting about it. The networks are thinking this is best for our talents and for the industry,” Charo stated.
Charo starred with Bea Alonzo in the horror movie Eerie last year.
When asked what her next project is, Charo said she is currently reading two scripts.
“There are offers. I’m reading two scripts at the moment. Tignan natin,” she declared.
