Sino Ang May Sala star Bela Padilla did not hesitate to answer a fan’s question about the engagement of ex-boyfriend Neil Arce and The General’s Daughter star Angel Locsin.
It was on June 29, 2019, when Neil and Angel happily announced that they were now engaged in a series of Instagram posts.
Celebrities and netizens sent their congratulatory messages.
But how does Bela reacted to this?
The 28-year-old actress was taking questions from followers on Instagram during an afternoon pedicure on Wednesday when the topic of Neil’s recent engagement came up.
“How’s your heart knowing that your ex is already engaged?” one fan asked the actress.
“Why would you assume that I’m affected? I’m happy for them” Bela replied with smiling emojis.
Bela and Neil had been in a relationship for almost five years. The actress revealed that they had decided to part ways in January 2017. According to reports, Bela chose to focus her time on work and believed she was not deserving for Neil.
The two still worked together on some projects and remained as good friends. In fact, they collaborated on the Toni Gonzaga and Piolo Pascual movie released on September 2017 titled Last Night. Bela was the writer while Neil was the film producer.
After their breakup, Bela was linked to her My Dear Heart co-actor Zanjoe Marudo but she later clarified that she was still single.
