Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde straightforwardly answered a question about his sexuality.
In an Instagram story, Atayde posted a screengrab of a question from an anonymous source asking him if it was true that he was gay.
Without batting an eyelash, Arjo gamely set the record straight that he is not gay but also added that there should be no problem with being one.
“Hindi ako bakla but if ever I was? SO WHAT?! Anong problema?” said Atayde.
Rumors about Atayde’s sexuality have been going around social media for quite some time. Even his mother Sylvia Sanchez revealed in one of her interviews that she also thought that her son was gay.
But despite persistent rumors about his sexuality, Arjo is currently happy with his relationship with Kapuso Maine Mendoza.
Last March 2019, the two finally confirmed their relationship via an Instagram post.

Before confirming their relationship, the two went through a hard time because of the pressure from AlDub fans. Majority of them are not in favor of the relationship because they don’t want to let go of the AlDub love team.
Arjo has been bashed by AlDub fans for allegedly using Maine and causing the AlDub breakup.
