Box Office Royalties Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo or KathNiel are one of the most enduring couples in showbiz nowadays. Their relationship is going strong at seven years. That’s why most KathNiel fans are wondering if they are now planning to tie the knot.
The online world became abuzz after Angel Locsin,who worked with KathNiel on the 2017 horror fantasy series La Luna Sangre, teased Kathryn about getting engaged next.
It was on June 29 when the lead actress of The General’s Daughter announced her engagement to film producer Neil Arce in a series of Instagram posts. Kathryn then commented her congratulatory message on Angel’s post.
“OMG!! Congratulations ate,” Kathryn wrote.
Angel playfully replied, “@bernardokath salamat Kath! Susunod na ba kayo? Hehehe.”
Kathryn didn’t respond to Angel but netizens believed that it must be a sign that Kathryn and Daniel might soon be engaged.
Most fans were elated by this conversation. However,some disagreed, saying that Kathryn, 23, and Daniel, 24, were too young to get engaged.
The couple recently celebrated their 7th anniversary in Morroco since Kathryn wanted to go an exotic place. Apart from their dreamy getaway, fans were also touched after reading Kathryn’s lengthy anniversary letter to Daniel which she wrote during a flight from Hong Kong to Manila. Her letter became viral on social media.

It was August of last year when the couple admitted their relationship at a press conference of their movie, The Hows of Us.
Their love team started in 2011 when Daniel was paired up with Kathryn in the youth-oriented show Growing Up as a replacement for Albie Casiño.
The viewers loved their chemistry which resulted in them starring in their first teleserye together, Princess and I, alongside Khalil Ramos and Enrique Gil.
In 2013, KathNiel had their first movie together Must Be… Love with Liza Soberano who played the third party. Afterwards, the two were hailed as Box office King and Queen for their hit movies: She’s Dating the Gangster (2014), Crazy Beautiful You (2015), Barcelona: A Love Untold (2016), Can’t Help Falling In Love (2017), and most recently The Hows Of Us (2018).
