- Angel Locsin is YouGov’s World’s Most Admired Woman in 2019
Market research firm YouGov has released the results of an international poll to discover the most admired men and women in the world. The poll, which involved interviewing upwards of 42,000 people in 41 different countries, included a worldwide ranking which comprises politicians including the Obamas and the Trumps, entertainers, sports professionals, and royalty.
In the Philippines, Angel Locsin topped the list along with President Rodrigo Duterte. The Kapamilya actress received 11.14% admiration score while Duterte topped the men’s list with 19.39%.
On Twitter, Locsin couldn’t believe that she was leading the poll. “Hindi po ako naniniwala…pero kung totoo man, maraming salamat po🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻”

Meanwhile, Anne Curtis (8.57%), Angelina Jolie (7.66%), Gal Gadot (7.43%), Emma Watson (7.08%), Queen Elizabeth II (7.02%), Oprah Winfrey (6.99%), Taylor Swift (6.56%), Ellen DeGeneres (6.37%) and Marian Rivera (5.85%) followed Angel in the “most admired” women’s list.
The firm surveyed more than 42,000 participants in 41 countries to compile the data, which ranks the top 20 most popular men and women both worldwide and in individual regions.
