Actress-host and vlogger Alex Gonzaga couldn’t help but laugh off a medical offer from Korea.
In an Instagram story, Alex posted a screengrab of an email from a cosmetic group in South Korea asking for a collaboration.
“Collaboration Enquiry: Breast Implant. Dear Alex, I am a medical plastic surgery agent from Korea. We’re really loving your personality and enjoy following your journey on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. We are interested to collaborate with you for a new project we are working on,” the email read.
It was also stated in the email that no surgery will be done which may imply that the collaboration may be in the form of an advertisement or promotion of their clinic.
“P.S. There will be no surgery involved.”
Meanwhile, in a superimposed text, Alex candidly replied in jest that she was hurt by the invitation, even asking why do they think she needed a breast implant.
“Nakaka-hurt!!?” Why would you think I need one!! Hanggang sa Korea nakarating to!?” said Alex.
Currently, Alex is considered as one of the most influential Pinoy YoutTubers boasting of some 3.8 million subscribers.
But her popularity doesn’t shield her from controversies and criticisms.
Just recently, Alex was rumored to have been declared as Persona Non-Grata in Parañaque City after her controversial remarks against Mayor Edwin Olivares during a campaign sortie.
Alex has apparently dubbed the mayor as “may pagka madugas” attracting online bashers and critics supportive of the mayor.
A more recent event has also found Alex trading barbs with netizens on Instagram. She snapped back on netizens who laughed and mocked her father for his loss in the May 2019 elections.
Alex has been a constant target of online bashing and criticisms because of her quirky personality that is quite annoying for some.
But while Alex said that she is trying to adjust her personality and become a better person, she also said that she cannot please everybody.
“Kahit papaano nagche-change ka, may tini-tweak ka, mayroon kang inaano. Pero bottomline, this is really my personality, yung ang humor ko, yun ang ano,” Alex said in one of her interviews.
