- Alden Richards goes bad boy
- He is known for his good boy image as an actor
- Hello, Love, Goodbye is set to premiere on July 31
After wrapping up the shoot for Hello, Love, Goodbye with first-time co-star Kathryn Bernardo, Kapuso actor Alden Richards seems ready to shift from being the boy-next-door type of guy to a bad boy image.
On Tonight with Arnold Clavio last July 19, the Pambansang Bae took on a Q&A challenge.
Alden was asked by Arnold if he would get a tattoo in the future. The actor raised the placard, ‘Hello’ as his answer while saying, “Bad boy na ito.”
“Gusto ko something meaningful kasi nako-consider ko na siya kahit ayaw pa akong payagan. Nag-i-interview ako ng mga mayroong tattoo nang matagal na at sabi nila ‘yung tattoo na ipapalagay mo, bigyan mo ng foresight mga 10 years after. After 10 years, tingin mo ba gusto mo pa rin yung tattoo mong iyan? ‘Tsaka ka magpalagay. So, siguro ‘yung ipapalagay ko something na may impact sa buhay ko para hindi ko siya pagsasawaan.”
Alden is known for his good boy image as an actor. His notable works include Alakdana, Tween Hearts, One True Love, Carmela, The Road, Imagine You and Me, and Victor Magtanggol.
Last year, he has what was supposedly his first bad boy character in the movie Cain at Abel together with Aljur Abrenica.
The movie was supposed to be Alden’s most daring one as he shot his very first serious intimate scene. In his own words, Alden said that he went “all out” for that scene. But this did not push through due to the AlDub shining fantaserye series.
Star Cinema’s newest film, Hello, Love, Goodbye, hits theaters on July 31. The film has been making headlines not just because of lead characters Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards’ surprise pairing, but also because of the trailer, which is giving everyone all the feels.
The film centers on the love story of Joy (Kathryn) and Ethan (Alden), Filipino workers based in Hong Kong. Ethan, a bartender, is keen on romantically pursuing Joy, a domestic helper who is wholly dedicated to providing for her family.
