On Wowowin’s June 17 episode, a grade one student named Jed tried his luck as a Wowowin contestant on the show’s Willie of Fortune segment.
During the interview portion, the host, Willie Revillame asked Jed what he wanted to be someday and the six-year-old boy revealed that he dreams of becoming a pilot or an actor (his biggest dream).
Revillame threw a follow up question:”Sinong paborito mong artista?”
“Si Cardo po,” his quick reply and it started to draw laughter from the audience.
Willie asked again, “Sino si Cardo?”
“Yung magaling po magbaril,” the boy replied again and he referred to Coco Martin‘s character as Cardo Dalisay in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano of ABS-CBN.
Willie who smirked, but asked again and was hoping to solicit a name of a Kapuso star,”Ahh si Cardo, sino pa paborito mong artista?”
Jed, however mentioned another Kapamilya star and spew it out, “Ronnie Alonte po.”
The audience burst into a wilder laughter.
“Bakit si Ronnie Alonte ang paborito mong artista?” Revillame didn’t stop from inquiring.
“Kasi magaling po mag dance, acting and mag sing po,” Jed quickly replied.
Willie who was dismayed by Jed’s answers, he joked, “Bakit ka dito ka sumali?”
“Para ipakita talento ko po Kuya Wil,” the boy candidly said.
“Sige batiin mo na sila, baka nanood si Cardo (Willie pertained to Jed’s Kapamilya idols).”
Jed obviously paused for a moment for he felt shy, but after further prodding, he uttered, “What’s up madlang people?”

The studio was filled with guffaws from Willie and his audience after hearing the unexpected greeting.
Afterwards, it was Jed’s turn to throw in a question to Willie. He inquired why Revillame seemed to have not aged. The singer-comedian host wasn’t able to contain his laughter, too.
He replied, “Kasi lagi akong masaya nanonood ako ng mga show ng GMA kaya di ako tumatanda.”
Willie then asked Jed to choose between Cardo and him, the boy chose them both. Jed was praised by Revillame for his witty answer.
“Cardo punta ka dito,” said the solid Kapamilya admirer.
On June 3, Willie also joined a playful banter among It’s Showtime! hosts via a phone call with Tawag ng Tanghalan judge Ogie Alcasid. The humorous exchange resulted Revillame’s pledge to grant a TNT contender’s birthday wish–a drone for a child.
