Vice President for Entertainment of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) Jimmy Bondoc continues to throw shade at ABS-CBN on his social media account.
Following the online exchange between Jimmy Bondoc and Angel Locsin about the possible non-renewal of ABS-CBN’s franchise and his continued rants on how the network ruins lives, many celebrities have slammed Bondoc for his schadenfreude.
Veteran actress Vivian Valdez is one of the few to defend Bondoc for his actions.
“Expect to be bashed and beaten, Jimmy Bondoc,” she said
“In this business, most of the (celebrities/employees) will look the other way and we know why. Wealth defense, the culture of ‘utang na loob’. After all, who could be against oligarchs who show such generosity? But is it really generosity from their end when you are being paid for your art, talent, and services?
“T a m a k a . Ol iga r chs wi l l keep the people divided. They have little fear from occasional protest because they think they are in full control. The very reason why we support Tatay Digong, we see him trying to break down and defeat oligarchy in our system. Slowly we’re seeing people unite, slowly with his governance, we’re seeing an opportunity to bring government back to the people.
“Walang bibitaw. It’s worth being bashed against when you know you’re telling the truth, when you know the future of our political system might be more up for grabs that it has been in generations. We pray that democracy will emerge from this oligarchic breakdown.
“Mabuhay ka! Para sa bayan,” she said.
The actress who was last seen in ABS-CBN’s ‘Tubig at Langis’ in 2016, also shared Thinking Pinoy’s summary of “the Lopezes’ unpaid DBP loans.”
A proud celebrity endorsing the President Rodrigo Duterte, she also shared a former ABS-CBN Employee’s revelation about the mistreatment he received from the company.
Vivian Velez is a veteran actress who was known as Ms. Body Beautiful in the ’80s. She has appeared in more than 60 movies and television shows.
