- Robin Padilla hits politicians for failing to address the water crisis.
- Robin and Mariel Padilla called out politicians for inefficient public service.
Actor and known Duterte Die-hard Supporter (DDS) Robin Padilla took to Instagram to air his sentiments regarding the water problems in the metro.
But in his lengthy post, the actor seemed confused as to whom to address his concerns regarding the current water crisis that is being experienced by Metro Manila residents.
Without naming names, Padilla called out politicians that he said are busy capitalizing on the Reed Bank incident instead of delivering basic services to every Filipino’s home.
He also lamented that in spite of the big amount of taxes that they are paying, they get little to no water.
Robin wrote.
His post was echoed by his wife Mariel Padilla in the comment section who said the same thing about the tax that they are paying yet not getting water.
“Yes!!! Tapos wala tayong tubig?!?!?!?!?!?” Mariel posted.
Metro Manila residents are currently experiencing a water crisis with the low supply of water from Manila Water.
According to Manila Water, the low supply of water and high demand from its customers lead to the water shortage which started in the first quarter of this year.
Manila Water is under the supervision of the Manila Water Works and Sewerage System (MWSS) which is under the executive department or the Office of the President.
Meanwhile, Robin also seemed confused about what issue he should address in his post if it should be the Reed Bank incident or the water crisis.
But after ranting about politicians who called for a strong stand on China’s encroachment, Padilla again went back to the water crisis.
NOW!”
Robin’s rant had netizens questioning if he really knew how the government works. He seemed to be blaming the opposition when it is the government that he supports who has control of the water crisis. Ergo any fault with the water crisis should be addressed to the government.
