The much-awaited family drama series Love Thy Woman of ABS-CBN had its first taping day on June 11, Tuesday. The show also finished its look tests recently.
The upcoming series will star Xian Lim, Kim Chiu, Erich Gonzales Christopher de Leon, Eula Valdes, Sunshine Cruz, Zsa Zsa Padilla, and Ruffa Gutierrez.
Love Thy Woman will feature a storyline centered on Filipino-Chinese traditions with family and scandals intertwined to captivate viewers. Kim and Erich play half-sisters while Xian plays Erich’s fiancé at the beginning of the family drama.

Erich Gonzales, who will play Queenie Wong, shared an exciting detail about the upcoming series.
“Lahat po kami dito, biktima ng love sa kuwento. Exciting,” said Erich, according to ABS-CBN News.
Real-life sweethearts Kim and Xian were not at the first taping of the upcoming series.
Xian said that he and Kim dedicate the show to their KimXi fans who haven’t seen them together for a long time now.
“This is something for our supporters and this is something that we’ve been waiting for,” Xian said.

It was 2016 when Kim and Xian last had a teleserye together, The Story Of Us. The real-life couple’s last project with Erich was 2011’s Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin. Kim and Erich were also part of a love triangle with Gerald Anderson in Sana Maulit Muli in 2007.
