Former love team partners Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz were spotted together in a photo shot in El Nido,Palawan.The two seemed to have an unexpected reunion after their last encounter at stylist Rex Atienza’s wedding ceremony in the year 2017 held in Paris.
Their photo circulated online and this have made netizens assumed about their comeback project after John Lloyd’s showbiz hiatus which caused his many fans to miss him a lot.
Fans are begging for their team up onscreen tandem to show up again in a silver screen after their last blockbuster hit movies ‘One More Chance’ and ‘A Second Chance’.Their characters Popoy and Basha engraved a lasting memory in the hearts of their fans.
The actress finally addressed the speculations of fans during the Thanksgiving party for the success of her latest film Eerie which earned P201 million worldwide box office.
“Secret,” she said. “Pero yes, I saw him in El Nido. Kakabalik ko lang kahapon,” she revealed.
She decided to keep her “secret” project with the actor and played mysterious by not dropping any detail.Though,she assured fans are in for a surprise.
“I was happy to see him. We had a good time there. We were with friends also. But I can’t disclose what’s it’s for yet. Pero, ano ‘yan, surprise,” she said.

Bea also admitted that she never lost contact with the Kapamilya actor and maintained keeping in touch with him.
“Hindi naman siya nagtago. Nagpahinga lang siya. Matagal kaming hindi nagkita pero we never lost contact, we never lost touch,” she stated.
Bea also said she missed working with the actor, whom she first worked with back in 2002 for the series Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay.
“Definitely. Nami-miss ko siyang makatrabaho. I’m sure maraming nakakamiss din sa kanya na tao na nanood ng pelikula.
Bea also admitted that she was surprised when she found out that photos of them have already started circulating online.
“Alam mo nagulat din ako. Kasi di ko alam na may mga lumabas na rin sa social media. Pero natutuwa ako na malaman na maganda ‘yung reaction ng mga tao. It makes me feel happy kasi antagal na rin namin nagkatrabaho. Antagal rin namin nawala together onscreen. And overwhelming ‘yung reaction ng mga tao, ng mga netizens. So thank you sa lahat ng nagbigay ng good comments” Bea happily said.
But their “secret” seemed to unfold now.On June 16, 2019, John Lloyd took to Instagram to post photos from their shoot, which were taken by Paul Mondok. The snaps include John Lloyd and Bea at the beach, on a boat, and lounging around with friends and a production crew.Is this a confirmation yet?
