On June 19, Wednesday, during the KapareWho segment of It’s Showtime, Vice Ganda and Ion Perez made another hint on their rumored romance.
Perez and his onscreen “rival” Jackie Gonzaga usually take turns to impress Vice Ganda with their their prepared drink or food for Vice. But this time, the comedian host had to face an unexpected question from Ion.
Apart from offering a plate of spaghetti, Perez came prepared with pickup lines. Vice Ganda’s reactions to Perez’s romantic quips became the subject of tease among other co-hosts of the noontime show.
“Mahal mo na ‘ko, ‘no?” Perez inquired, and Vice Ganda got distracted.
The Unkabogable star then switched topics, but was still teased by his co-hosts and asked him to answer Perez’s question.
Vice Ganda played safe and replied with the context of his love for both Perez and Gonzaga.
“Mahal ko naman silang dalawa ni Jackie,” he said. “Iba ang pagmamahal ko sa kanila. Nandidito ako para mahalin sila, protektahan sila, isama sila, at makita kong nagtatagumpay, at palakpakan sila habang nagbabago at gumaganda ang mga buhay nila.”
Recently, when asked about the “real score” between him and Perez, Vice Ganda only uttered a hint that they are “both happy”.
Perez, the reigning Mister Universe Tourism title holder, is currently working as a model. He is becoming popular after being chosen as the replacement of Greg Hawkins as the escort for the Miss Q & A segment.
Prior to his It’s Showtime stint, he had already met Vice Ganda in October 2017 during a Gandang Gabi Vice taping.
On a March 17 episode of Gandang Gabi Vice, Vice finally confirmed that he’s in a romantic relationship (without revealing the identity of his new love). The comedian’s confirmation of having a relationship came days after a new round of rumors surfaced and was linked Perez.
