In the coming months, GMA Network is offering nine television programs that will surely capture the viewers’ attention. There will be four drama soaps from high caliber Kapuso stars, three upcoming reality shows for aspiring new talents, a talk show from GMA News TV, and one romantic Koreanovela adaptation.
Out of the four shows GMA Network has unveiled in their 2019 summer plug ‘Basta’t Ka-Summer Kita, Kapuso,’ The Better Woman topbilled by Derek Ramsay and Andrea Torres is the only remaining teleserye to premiere hopefully this month.
Starstruck VII (Weekends starting June 15)

GMA Network is set to bring back its original reality-based artista search in 2019, StarStruck. StarStruck jumpstarted the careers of Jennylyn Mercado, Mark Herras, Cristine Reyes, Yasmien Kurdi, Ryza Cenon, Mike Tan, LJ Reyes, Jackie Rice, Kris Bernal, Aljur Abrenica, Sarah Lahbati, Enzo Pineda, and Rocco Nacino. The new edition of Starstruck marks its seventh season on the air, after a more than three-year hiatus.
The new Starstruck will be hosted by Jennylyn Mercado and Dingdong Dantes with The Council (judges) members include Cherie Gil, Heart Evangelista and Jose Manalo.
MARS on GMA Weekday Mornings (Beginning July 8)

After 7 years, Mars will bid goodbye to GMA News TV this month with hosts Suzi Entrata and Camille Prats. The show will be placed on GMA Network’s weekday morning timeslot beginning July 8. The show will compete with ABS-CBN three-year-old morning talk show Magandang Buhay.
Hanggang Sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko (GMA Afternoon Prime)

Previously titled The Haunted Wife, GMA Network will make your afternoon even hotter and bolder as a different story of love unfolds in the upcoming drama series, Hanggang Sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko. The series will be top billed by Kim Domingo, Kris Bernal, Megan Young, and Rayver Cruz.
Rosang Agimat (GMA Telebabad)

Rosang Agimat was one of the shelved programs of GMA Network. Rhian Ramos was first rumored to play the titular role in 2007. 12 years later, the project will finally push through with Gabbi Garcia, Thea Tolentino, Gil Cuerva, Jeric Gonzales, Celia Rodriguez, Luz Valdez, Kristoffer Martin, Tonton Gutierrez, Roi Vinzon, Victor Neri, and Betong Sumaya. Under the direction of Toto Natividad, the series is touted as the comeback project of Eddie Garcia to GMA Network after three years.

GMA Network’s Prima Donnas, which is top-billed by Kapuso tween actresses Jillian Ward, Althea Ablan, and Sofia Pablo, is directed by Gina Alajar. This series will unite Aiko Melendez with Wendell Ramos, who played her husband in the defunct ABS-CBN series, Wildflower, in 2017.

The Better Woman is Derek Ramsay’s first big project after signing an exclusive contract with GMA Network. He was supposed to be partnered with another transferring Kapamilya star but the plan did not push through since the Kapamilya star had so many demands. Meanwhile, Andres Torres was chosen among Kapuso female leads to be Derek’s love interest in the series.
Descendants of the Sun – Pinoy Adaptation (GMA Telebabad)

The network finally gave announced the main cast of the most-awaited Koreanovela adaptation of GMA Network. Originally played by Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo, Dingdong Dantes and Jennylyn Mercado will give life to Yoo Si-jin (Captain Lucas or Big Boss) and Doctor Kang Mo-yeon with supporting cast members Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Rocco Nacino.
The Clash Season 2 (Weekends)
The Clash is a cutthroat search to look for the undiscovered vocal talents of the country to vie for the last man standing. The show was formerly hosted by Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, the network is still looking for her replacement.
Centerstage Kids (Weekends)
Centerstage Kids is a singing tilt for talents below 13 years old where the contestants need to impress the judges who will bring them to the center stage.
