- Due to the accident that caused the life of multi-awarded veteran actor-filmmaker Eddie Garcia, the series that was supposed to be Gabbi Garcia’s launching as a solo star is being put on-hold.

- After accidentally tripping on a cable wire on the set of Rosang Agimat, the actor had a bad fall and was diagnosed with cervical fracture, suffered from a neck fracture resulting to his tragic death.
After almost two weeks in a coma, the award-winning and veteran actor Eddie Garcia passed away, yesterday, June 20 at 4:55 PM at the age of 90; and his death has put on hold the launching series of another Garcia, in the person of Gabbi.
Gabbi is set to star in the series Rosang Agimat, which the veteran actor met his untimely death after the accident on the set while taping. Because of this, the operation for the upcoming GMA television series is put on-hold.
Whether temporarily or permanently, the project might be shelved off, for the second time.
This may be sad on her part but, no one really wished for the accident to happen since this series has long been planned and the production has begun. Rosang Agimat is a long-overdue series, which was once shelved off by GMA Network in 2007.

It was originally Rhian Ramos who was set to play the titular role.
During the story conference of the series, the cast were revealed. Apart from Eddie and Gabbi, Celia Rodriguez, Tonton Gutierrez, Roi Vinzon, Thea Tolentino, Jeric Gonzales, Luz Valdez, and Victor Neri were also included.
It was on June 8, when the veteran actor accidentally tripped on a cable wire. After being rushed to the hospital, he was officially diagnosed with a cervical fracture. It was only the machine that kept him alive but the family decided to put him on a Do Not Resuscitate (DNR).
