Philippine Independence deserves more than a day’s celebration. That’s why Shangri-La Plaza is putting the spotlight on Filipino talent and creativity for the entire month of June with LIKHA. Here’s everything you should experience.

Explore the country’s rich heritage. From June 1 to 13, the Pamana Exhibit showcases stunning photos that recall our roots, from national landmarks to heirloom culinary traditions. View the works of Jan Aliling, Bien Bautista, Paolo Antonio Buendia, Josefino Mario De Guzman, and Maria Victoria “Kakai” Manotoc Arroyo at Luxury Lane, Level 1, East Wing.

Take pride in the country’s native products. Catch the amazing pop-up event Filipino Flavors & Fabrics from June 4 to 9 at the Grand Atrium to take home wonderful products from community vendors, indigenous peoples and women micro-entrepreneurs, and also to support women producers all over the country.

Mark a historical holiday with a special musical collaboration. Musician Noel Cabangon teams up with the Manila String Machine for Malaya: An Independence Day Concert on June 12 at the Grand Atrium.
Enjoy a traditional folk fest. Get ready for Alay, a rich and colorful display of Filipino folk tradition. Folk dance company Lahing Batangan Dance Troupe will move to the voices of Song Weavers Philippines on June 15, 7PM at the Grand Atrium.

Experience Filipino. Ballet Philippines’ most celebrated pieces are coming to the Shang. Witness CELEBRATION featuring Tales of the Manuvu, choreographed and written by National Artists Alice Reyes and Bienvenido Lumbera, and other masterpieces this June 22, 7:00 PM at the Grand Atrium.

Shop for unique local finds. Browse and buy local as two great fairs come to the Shang from June 28 to 30. HABI Market Fair offers mall guests beautiful handcrafted products from , and more at the Grand Atrium. While Piling Pinoy at the East Atrium has everything from furniture, art, food and fashion.

#FeelTheShangVibe this June by celebrating Pinoy pride, #LikhaAtTheShang.
