A lot of netizens and some celebrities have expressed their opinions about Idol Philippines. Questions have been raised about whether or not three of the judges—namely Vice Ganda, Moira Dela Torre, and James Reid—are qualified for the job of selecting singers with potential.
Singer Bituin Escalante recently commented about Idol Philippines that if she were to audition for the show, she wouldn’t pass and get the golden ticket to go on to Idol City.
The singer said, “If I joined Philippine Idol, Hindi ako papasa sa judges… kay Reg lang. At ok ako don.”

Bituin also seemingly mocked what the judges were fond of saying whenever they passed judgement.

Escalante is just one of the latest celebrities that have expressed their negative opinions about the show. Director Jose Javier Reyes also tweeted about possible replacements for the Idol Philippines, which drew the ire of the fans of the current judges.
