- It has been two years since Nadine Lustre and James Reid starred in a television series
- On Twitter, a fan requested director Jojo Saguin for a new JaDine series
- The director replied to her tweet with an affirmative answer
Nadine Lustre and James Reid’s last television series was the romantic dramedy Till I Met You which first aired on August 29, 2016 and lasted until January 20, 2017. Their last film together was in 2018, the Antoinette Jadaone-helmed Never Not to Love You.
It was on June 2018 when the JaDine tandem agreed to have separate projects, saying that it is actually “healthy” for them.
The two have done their own projects since then. James starred in the 2018 movie Miss Granny with Sarah Geronimo while Nadine co-starred with Carlo Aquino in the movie Ulan released on March 13 of this year.
Although it has not yet been confirmed, director Jojo Saguin has dropped hints of a possible JaDine series soon.
This happened when a fan requested for a new JaDine series last week on Twitter. She said in a tweet: “Buti na lang I have complete [On the Wings of Love] series to watch over and over again.
“Direk [Jojo], sana pa-isa uling ganitong serye for them. ‘Yung tipong may mga anak na sila.”
Director Jojo, who co-directed the said series with Antoinette Jadaone, Dan Villegas, Darnel Villaflor, and Francis Pasion, replied in a positive tone: “Yes, soon po. #FingersCrossed.”
