Fans of ABS-CBN’s ‘Kadenang Ginto’ will be happy to know that the show has been extended.
The top rating afternoon series has got viewers hooked with the feisty confrontations not only between Cassie and Marga but also between their mothers Romina and Daniela as well.
Dimples Romana, who plays the scheming Daniela Mondragon, is very proud and happy about having her own fans despite the fact that she plays the antagonist of the series.
“I’m just so happy how all our Kadenang Ginto fans are actually embracing Daniela and I love it because even kontrabidas have their own different personas.“
The actress said that while Daniela can be devious, she still has a soft spot at times.
“Hindi naman lahat ng super kontrabida ay super black eh. There are also gray moments where Daniela would show her heart.”
The ‘Kadenang Ginto’ lead star is also very thankful for the viewers and fans, especially those who make the effort to create memes based on the show.
“Saya di ba? Sobrang spicy niya. Like for example may mga moments na kapag binabasa ko ‘oh my God imi-meme nila ito.’ Alam ko na gagawan nila ito.”
When asked about the ‘Kadening Ginto’s’ extension, she replied, “Puwede ko bang sabihin? Pero huwag kayong mag-alala KG fans, matagal na matagal pa.”
The actress admitted that it’s very hard to play Daniela but she’s very thankful for the role.
One of the Gold Squad members, Kyle Echarri who plays the role of Kristoff Tejada, also confirmed that ‘Kadenang Ginto’ will be running for a year.
“Sabi po ni Sir Deo (Endrinal, head of Dreamscape) at least, the whole year daw po ‘yung Kadenang Ginto.”
‘Kadenang Ginto’ has ruled the ratings in their timeslot as per Kantar Media and even in NUTAM People Ratings with an audience share in of 10.5%.
